About the role

NGI DriveTech is seeking a high-impact commercial leader to drive ambitious expansion across North America. This role combines strategic sales leadership, market development, technical business development, and organizational capability building to establish NGI DriveTech as the leading provider of synchronous oil-free drum motor technology for hygienic, food processing, packaging, and industrial automation markets.

 

This is a hands-on, growth-oriented, leadership opportunity for an individual who thrives in ambitious environments and can simultaneously lead strategic regional expansion while supporting frontline sales execution, technical application development, and customer success.

The successful candidate will own North American commercial performance, including top-line growth, strategic account penetration, sales team enablement, and customer experience optimization.

Success Metrics
  • Revenue growth and contribution margin expansion.
  • Strategic account wins and market share growth.
  • Pipeline generation, conversion, and customer retention.
  • Sales team effectiveness and capability development.
  • Successful commercialization of new products.


Travel Requirements
  • Minimum 30–50% travel throughout North America.
  • Regular customer visits, trade shows, strategic account meetings, and internal leadership engagements.


Key Responsibilities
  • Own North American commercial strategy, revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion
  • Lead, coach, and develop the regional sales organization while building scalable sales processes and growth plans.
  • Drive strategic customer acquisition, key account growth, pricing strategy, and pipeline development.
  • Support complex technical sales opportunities and translate customer needs into business solutions
  • Partner with product management and marketing to identify market opportunities, customer insights, and growth initiatives.
  • Lead by example through NGI's core values and contribute to organizational development.


Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 7-10+ years of industrial B2B sales leadership experience, ideally within automation, motion control, conveyance, or related sectors
  • Strong commercial and technical acumen with a proven track record of driving profitable growth and developing new markets.
  • Experience leading regional or national sales organizations in North America.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.


Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field required.
  • Minimum 7–10 years progressive experience in sales, sales leadership, business development, or product line management.
  • Prior experience in industrial manufacturing, automation, durable goods, or related sectors strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading regional or national sales organizations preferred.
