JPNGI Environmental Report 2025 is now available
Our 2025 Environmental Report provides a transparent view of our environmental performance, including both the progress we have made and the areas where further improvement is needed. The report covers energy use, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, VOC emissions, water use and waste generation. This year, it also places NGI’s environmental efforts within the broader sustainability direction of Moovimenta.
Key results in 2025:
- 72% reduction in Scope 1 and market-based Scope 2 emissions since 2020, from 304 to 90 tCO₂e.
- 5.5% reduction in VOC emissions despite a 7% increase in total solvent use, supported by a shift towards VOC-free solvents.
- 80% of waste was recycled, compared with 66% in 2020.
- Landfill reduced to just 0.1% of total waste, down from 16.7% in 2020 and well below NGI’s 5% target.
- A new cleaning solution in CNC production eliminates 650 litres of corrosive chemicals annually.

The report also shows where challenges remain. Total energy use increased by 14.6% in 2025, primarily due to higher production volumes, while water use and total waste generation also increased. These are areas where we continue to focus on improved efficiency and reducing our environmental footprint as we grow.
