Hygienic Design

The new hygienic castors are designed with a one-sided fork housing allowing easy access for cleaning from all angles minimizing accumulation of dirt and bacteria.

Food Safety

When you reduce dirt and bacteria you increase food safety. It's as simple as that. 

Water Usage

The design of the castors allows easy acces for cleaning and minimizes the use of resources such as water and cleaning detergents.

Plug&Play

Installation of the hygienically designed castors is both quick and easy. This makes the new hygienic NGI casters ideal for retrofit projects.

Advantages of Hygienically Designed Castors

  • One-sided fork housing providing easy access for cleaning
  • Housing made of stainless steel AISI 304/A2 1.4301
  • Wheel axle with nut bolt hole
  • Center of castor made from white polyamide
  • Blue thread made from polyurethane
  • Two high-quality stainless steel ball bearings
  • Wheel dimensions Ø100 (other dimensions to be launched)
  • Developed in accordance with DS/EN12532:1999
  • All sealings made with FDA-approved TPE

Test in a production facility

We have conducted tests with one of our customers, comparing our new castors to the current castors in use.

The advantages were evident. Through these tests, we demonstrated the amount of dirt that castors pick up from the production floor during use.

In addition to customer testing, our new castors have been tested against standard castors by FORCE Technology - the Danish Research and Technology Organization of Hygienic Design.
