MTS82 Synchronous Drum motor

With a diameter of just 81 mm, the MTS82 is a compact, oil-free drum motor designed for hygienic environments and demanding conveyor applications.

Its fully enclosed, maintenance-free design integrates motor and transmission inside the drum, eliminating external components and contamination risks.

Powered by synchronous motor technology, the MTS82 delivers high torque even at low speeds, ensuring consistent performance with minimal energy consumption. It supports multi-speed dimensioning and precise positioning in sensorless operation and can be equipped with feedback systems for closed-loop control and indexing. Digital nameplate options enable plug-and-play installation for seamless integration.

Suitable for both standalone conveyors and high-precision machinery, the MTS82 handles low to mid-range loads with ease - making it a reliable choice for food production and automation systems.

MTS82 is also available in a Compact version: The Compact MTS82-0.19 is NGI’s shortest drum motor,
optimized for short motor lengths and tight installations in space constrained conveyor systems.
